We were so excited to see our baby for the first time. We are really having a baby! The doctor said that the baby's measurements suggest that we may only be 9 weeks along. We were hoping he'd say you are 14 weeks, but that was just wishful thinking! We weren't able to hear the heartbeat but we could see it. Jessica is doing well, and although she is dealing with some of the expected challenges, she still has a very positive attitude. We are hoping that as we near the 2nd trimester that her symptoms will ease. We are very grateful for the love and support we have felt from both our friends and our family.
