Every morning starts with diapers, kid clothes, and making the bed (on good days).
I'm trying to put together a weekly menu. I've got a lot more gaps than meals.
Doug graciously made eggs for all of us.

Joseph supervised.
My posse and I went shopping at Wal-Mart.
By lunchtime I was tired and frazzled. My healthy well-balanced meal plan morphed into McDonalds nuggets and fries.
My shadow followed me everywhere I would allow.
"Is nap time over? Is it time to get up?"
I LOVE Rachel's hair. She has amazing color, sheen, and just the right amount of natural curl. She has the hair I always wanted.
"No pictures please."
We went on a walk.
Joseph watched some "Baby Einstein."

I played 500 matchstick pickup. It's fun. You should try it sometime.
We ended the day with stories, prayers, hugs and sloppy kisses.

I love it! So much fun. You posse is so cute. I love Joey's hair sticking up straight. You should have called me. 500 matchstick pick up is my favorite game! I bet it's Rachel's as well.
ReplyDeleteI love how this post is so true to mom form- we have great intentions with a menu and healthy ideas and sometimes we have no choice but to veer from our plans and end up with McDonalds. Love it! Sadly it happens more often then it should at our house.
ReplyDeleteI always love this. I love the small glimpse into your daily life so I know just how normal I am. :)
