Plan B. Cold cereal.
Rachel headed off to preschool.
It is finally warming up a bit and the snow is gone. So after Rachel got home we went out to play.
Joseph likes to go in and out and in and out of the little house.

Rachel likes to climb up to the crow's nest.
Then she slides down.
Over and over and over.
This is the first day that Joseph ever climbed to the crow's nest by himself. Look how happy he is about it.
The only thing that scares me is that he doesn't like to go down the slide so he tries to climb down the ladder by himself too. I have to watch him like a hawk.
Rachel is constantly pointing out airplanes. Today she looked up at the sky and wistfully whispered, "someday."
Someday is right. Someday she will get to ride an airplane. She has flown once already. But she was barely one year old and doesn't remember.
Doug came out to play for a few minutes and took Joey down the slide.

Later that day Rachel and Joseph invented a new game. Bounce, bounce, bounce on the ball. Then fall off and giggle. These guys are having so much fun together. They say that the best gift you can give a child is a sibling. I think these two are a perfect example of that.
After dinner Doug put the mirror on Rachel's new dresser.
Rachel invited Joe to bring his mug of water to her bed. She said, "Come on Joey! Let's go hang out on my bed and have a party."

Joseph is extremely ticklish and is ripe for teasing when on the the changing table.
If we ask him to do "thumbs up" this is what we get.

Doug was stuck doing a little more work during story time before bed. So Rachel made up her own stories for Joey.
