Disneyland August 2011 - Day 3 (Post 3 of 7)

Rachel - Almost 2.5 years old.  Joey - 5 months old.
Wednesday, August 3rd, 2011.

Rachel was really beginning to like Disneyland.

We tried and tried and tried to catch Mickey.  Rachel wanted to touch him.  Every time we got close he would vanish.  But we caught Minnie and Pluto.

We went to the 3D "Bug's Life" show.  Rachel and Joey HATED it.  I think it was too realistic for their young minds.

Waiting for the train.  Playing with the stroller was almost as fun as the ride itself.

Teacups!

Dumbo is always a favorite.

Waiting.

Storybook Land.

Grandma and Papa Goodwin on Dumbo.  Too cute!

Waiting in line for the carousel.

One last spin on the teacups before bed.

Disneyland August 2011 - Day 2 (Post 2 of 7)

Rachel - Almost 2.5 years old.  Joey - 5 months old.
Tuesday, August 2nd, 2011.

Ready to go.

Aurora's Castle. (Sleeping Beauty)

Dumbo!  Doug and I stood in line together, then took turns taking Rachel on the ride.  I took Rachel on the ride while Doug held Joseph.  Then we switched places.   Rachel didn't know what to expect the first time.

Look at that smile now.

"What?!  I can't go again?!"

Sad resignation.

Smile for the camera!

The carousel.

Casey Junior.

You can see Disney Magic reflected in Rachel's face.

We met up with the extended family to go on the "Small World" ride.

The line was long.  Doug got Rachel a treat to enjoy while we waited.

And waited.

And waited.

It payed off in the end.  This was Joseph's favorite ride.
