January 12th, 2013

I have been working like crazy trying to reorganize our kitchen.  I started in the pantry.  Isn't it lovely?!

I moved the cold cereal, snacks and sandwich stuff to a lower shelf where kids will be able to access it.

I moved all the baking stuff up high and the healthier stuff (minus the pasta roni) to eyesight height.

As always, organizing one space snowballs into others.  Someday I'll show you the other spaces.

Doug and I have been re-encoding every movie we own.  This is a herculean effort.

In the spur of the moment we decided to take the kids sledding.  I didn't have any snow gear for little boys.  So Joseph sported this hot pink beauty.

Imagine our surprise and delight when we ran into our friends the Pitchers at the sledding hill.

Rachel and Emmalee had a blast!

Shane was super nice about being the resident ski lift.

Rachel's first time sledding all on her own.

Look at her go!

Doug to Joseph down a couple of times.

Joe was just as happy walking around up at the top of the hill.

Kortnie (just a couple of months older than Joe) was not amused by the sledding either.  I love these pictures of Ashley and Kortnie.

A couple more trips down the hill and it was time to go home.

Rachel had not had enough of the snow so we let her play for a while at the house.

She was so excited that she flopped down in the middle of the driveway to make a snow angel.
