Watercolors

I'm trying to do something educational and fun three to four times per week.  I call it "Home School."  Rachel and Joseph love it.  Today we talked about colors and rainbows.  It was tons of fun.  Rachel was very focused on her paintings.




Joey was more focused on painting his fingers.  But he did make some fun colorful paintings.



I did some of the art as well.

Speaking of Sydney

Aunt Nan, Aunt Melinda and Sydney came to Utah in August of 2012.  Joseph, Rachel and I were able to visit them at Aunt Rebecca's house.  Aunt Tessa had sent a garbage bag full of toys with the travelers.  My kids were THRILLED! 


Anyway.  Speaking of Sydney.  Rachel absolutely LOVES Sydney.  Rachel talks about Sydney all the time.  She thinks Sydney hung the moon. 


It is easy to understand why Rachel idolizes her when you watch them together.  Sydney is so creative, attentive and fun!

Mother's Day 2012

I didn't have to lift a finger on Mother's Day.  Doug took care of everything.  He surprised me with THE BEST Mother's Day/Birthday present ever.  I've always loved this painting by Liz Lemon Swindle.  Thanks Doug, Mom & Dad Goodwin, Elizabeth, Rachel and Joseph for a wonderful gift and a wonderful day.
