10/27/09 Doug's alarm clock was buzzing. This might be like any other day except we usually wake to the news on 102.7. Odd. When the fog lifted we realized that we had no power. As a child I always found power outages to be an adventure. Today was a different matter.
We laid in bed, pondering the things that needed to be done. We mused about what electricity does for us daily. Goal number 1...warm Rachel's bottle. Goal number 2...warm Rachel. Goal number 3...Figure out how Doug can work without going to the office.
In the end we decided to retreat to Doug's parents house in Provo. They were gracious hosts.
