Rachel likes to read while I do her hair. (No I didn't ask her to pose.)
After everybody was dressed we went to visit Doug at his office.
No playgroup today. What a disappointment.
I accepted that I didn't have a good reason to procrastinate my chores. So I set my laundry sprite to work.
You remember my laundry sprite don't you? (11/12/2009...6 months old.)
My how she's grown.
She loves to match socks. I love that she's learning while helping me work. Two birds, one stone.
Joseph enjoyed a morning nap in the crib. Rachel doesn't mind sharing during the day.
She still isn't convinced that the big girl bed is the way to go.
So many books. So little time.
Doug made homemade noodles for dinner.
After dinner Rachel found some flashcards I'd stashed away for a rainy day. Hmmm...well it did rain.
I worked on pictures and blogging.
These two played happily at my feet.
Mostly happily.
It was fun to watch them. It was "tummy time" but I just couldn't keep Joseph on his tummy.
Every time I'd get him on his stomach he would roll over.
Sometimes it was on his own accord. He often had help.
Finally, time for bed.
Ahhh. Now that's comfortable.
I can't wait until the kids come running in from a nightmare to find their dad and I assimilated by the borg.
I'm kidding of course. We are already getting Rachel accustomed to our COOL elephant masks.

What an interesting story line. I just loved it! Well written, Jessica. Thanks! Love!!!! Mom
