Joseph - 6 Months

Joseph is 6 months old and time continues to fly.  On September 13th, he went for his well baby checkup.  He weighed 13.0 pounds (0 percentile for his age.  Yes, I know, 0% is impossible for a living boy.)  He is 25.7 inches tall.  (21st percentile for his age.)  His head circumference is in the 40th percentile for his age.

At his last checkup Dr. Vierra told us that he had a "musical" heart murmur.  She could hardly hear it this time.  We are hoping that he will continue to outgrow it.

Joseph is drinking about 20 oz of formula per day and eats 2 meals with oatmeal and vegetables.  He goes to sleep on his own, which is a huge blessing.

Joseph is a busy bee.  He is always touching, experimenting, tasting and watching.  He adores his big sister.  She can make him laugh with reckless abandon.  I’m so glad they have each other.

He absolutely LOVES his play yard.  He reaches, grabs, and rattles his toys.  He spins around like a top looking for new things to play with.  He can roll front to back and back to front.  All this playing can wear a boy out!  "Phew."

Joseph has a sweet, bubbly personality that spills out onto everyone that meets him.  We are so grateful to have this little boy in our home.

We love you Joe!
