Christmas 2011

Rachel - 2.5 years old, Joey - 9 months old.

Our first Christmas with 2 kids at home!  We spent Christmas Eve with the Goodwin Family.  I was too sick to spend the night so we had Christmas with just the four of us.  It was wonderful!

Getting ready to go out to the tree.

Santa brought Joey a Fisher Price "Noah's Ark."  He loved it.  He especially loved chewing on the animals.

"What's with this giant sock?"

Rachel jumped right to the candy.

Santa brought Rachel some puzzles and a remote control dinosaur.

The big hit of the morning was this car track set.  Although Joey was pretty happy with the box.

I had begun gathering games to make into our "Festival of Trees" tree.  I couldn't resist giving Doug a gift based on "The Game of LIFE."

Written on the outside of the box is, "I Wish I Could Get You..."

Inside he found a bunch of smaller presents.

So...
I wish I could give you a brand new Acadia plus a second car of your choice.

I wish I could give you the opportunity to be debt free with a huge nest egg.

I wish I could give you five million dollars.

I wish I could give you a choice of jobs with a big fat raise.

I wish I could give you the perfect house with all the amenities, plus a vacation home.

I wish I could give you a gaggle of kids (no sick wife.)

I wish I could give you spare time to reach new heights.

I wish I could give you diamonds and rubies.

"You'll have to settle for." (His real present was under all the little boxes.)

Merry Christmas!
